Guardians of the Grove Press
The Guardians of the Grove book series invites young readers into a magical forest filled with friendship, wonder, and gentle lessons about caring for the world around us. Beginning with Miranda & Yose Guardians of the Grove, the series follows Miranda the Forest Fairy and Yose the Dragon as they protect their woodland home and inspire children to become guardians of nature themselves.
Each beautifully illustrated story features one of their forest friends—like Daisy the Unicorn, Adeera the Deer, or new characters yet to be revealed—each facing a challenge that teaches kindness, responsibility, and imagination. With warmth and enchantment on every page, this growing collection is perfect for children ages 4–10 and anyone who believes in the magic of nature and the power of doing good.
Let the adventure begin—one guardian at a time.
Guardians of the Grove Sentiments

Miranda"We don’t just protect the grove. We belong to it."
Yose"When you believe in wonder, the whole world blooms."
Daisy"Every flight I take is a journey made possible by Guardians like you."
MariTips & Ideas
🌿 1. Host a “One Bag Clean-Up” Walk
Take a walk in your neighborhood or local park with a reusable bag and gloves. Collect any litter you see, just like Miranda’s mission in the forest. 🧚 “Even small hands can make a big difference.”
🌼 2. Plant Milkweed or Pollinator Flowers
Create a butterfly-friendly garden by planting native milkweed or nectar-rich flowers to support migrating monarchs like Mari.
🦋 “What we plant today gives wings to tomorrow.”
🌳 3. Adopt a Tree, Trail, or Green Space
Visit the same tree, trail, or garden regularly. Pick up litter, check on the health of plants, and journal changes you see in nature—just like Adeera watches over her forest path. 🦌 “Guardians are caretakers, not just visitors.”
♻️ 4. Create a “Magic Bin” for Recycling or Reuse
Decorate a special recycling or donation bin at home and talk about the magic of giving items a second life. Include drawings of Daisy and her sparkles! 🦄 “Even forgotten things can shine again.”
📚 5. Share the Story
Read Miranda & Yose or Mari the Monarch at school, a library, or with neighbors. Donate a copy or host a “Guardian Story Time.” Bonus points for wearing fairy wings or butterfly antennas! 🐉 “The story spreads when the Guardian speaks.”
🌄 Bonus: Visit Mariposa and Yosemite – The Real-Life Grove!
Take a magical trip to the land that inspired it all. Wander through wildflower meadows, stand beneath ancient oaks, and let the wind carry whispers from the pages of your favorite books. Visit Mariposa’s charming town and explore the trails of Yosemite National Park — home of the Great Oak, monarch butterflies, and the spirit of the Guardians.
